I started as a Protestant Christian and am pretty well versed in the Bible and history. I became a Quaker in college – about 50 years ago. I was still Christian but no longer Protestant. Quakers generally do not have creeds or dogmas or required beliefs. We value truth, simplicity, and moderation.
About 25 years ago, I became a Witch. I am also still a Quaker but I no longer call myself a Christian. Jesus is still very important to me as teacher and spirit guide. Of course, I know Jesus through what I have read in the Bible and through my own experience, both of which involve subjective filters.
Knowing one spirit guide, I am free to know other spirit guides when they appear.
